Hello everyone 🙂
My name is Tyler, I am 27 years old and for as far back as I can remember, I have been a meat-eating, dairy-consuming, cheese-loving, pancake smothered in syrup kind of guy.
Let me expand…
FOR BREAKFAST, I would typically eat things like fast food, bagels, biscuits and gravy, meat-lovers omelettes, maybe a yogurt if I felt like being ‘healthy’ or sometimes even nothing at all. On occasion, I would ungratefully grab an apple or a banana as I was running out the door, but it didn’t happen often.
FOR LUNCH, burgers, fries, sandwiches, subs, tacos, pizza, basically anything that was quick and easy or between to slices or bread.
FOR DINNER, I would eat a sizable portion of meat sided with a fried, canned, or heavily processed side dish. Canned peas and carrots or potato salad was the closest thing to a vegetable I would eat all day.
But I am about to change all of that…
After doing a little research, watching more than a few documentaries, and many long conversations, my fiance’ and I have recently undergone a massive lifestyle change by deciding to transition to eating a whole-foods, plant based diet.
My hopes for this site is to document our transition by offering useful information, tips, and progress reports during this transition period and beyond! This site will be evolving constantly with new information and ideas with each step in our journey and I hope to see you all along the way. I am no health guru nor a nutritional expert, but what I can offer to you all is my ever-growing knowledge and experience in the matter.
